SHANNON GAYLE MARTIN (Sunshine) August 20, 2005 - July 21, 2007 Sadly on July 21, 2007, Our Creator called Shannon to the Spirit World. Our girl at 23 months was a ray of sunshine. Shannon was precocious and already helping Mom with the laundry, putting one thing at a time into the clothes basket and handing the clothespins to her. Shannon was up early, keeping Daddy company while he had his coffee. Counting to five was already an accomplishment, and Good to Go! was her favourite saying. Shannon will be missed and lovingly remembered by her Mommy Virginia and her Daddy Ivan; her sisters, Valerie, Suzy, Tiffany, Priscilla, Jamie and Veronica; brothers, Bruce, Blair, Robert and Jake; her Koko Emma Martin and Grandpa Joe Martin; aunts, uncles, cousins and a very large extended family. Shannon was predeceased by her great-grandparents John Martin and Alice Cameron; Frank and Mary Cameron; Grandma Alexandra Cameron, Grandpa Tony Cameron; Uncles Leslie and Jerome, Melvin and Robert; Aunts Denise, Bernice and Patricia; cousins Angel Martin, Randy McKinney, Nathan, and Lesley. Traditional Wake will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 4:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Swan Lake First Nation Hall on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Indian Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Brent Cameron, Errol Cameron, Dallys Cameron and Braden Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers are cherished cousins: Veronica Cameron, Sheila McKinney, Elise Cameron, Courtney McKinney, Patrick McKinney, Alexis Wilson, Rosanne McKinney, Dustin Cameron and Janessa Cameron.
