Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBELA TOTH January 2, 1931 July 21, 2007 We, the children and grandchildren of Bela Toth, mourn his sudden passing as he was taken from us on July 21, 2007. Bela and his wife Julianna (deceased) came to Canada in 1957 to start a new life and escape the violence of the Hungarian Revolution. Bela apprenticed as a Blacksmith in Hungary and was able to apply his trade in Canada. He worked for Canadian Pacific Railways in Nakusp, British Columbia for four years then worked for Arrowlake Industries in Castlegar, BC for 10 years. Bela and the family then followed the rails with CP Rail and moved to Lynn Lake, Manitoba with the Sherritt Mining Company for four years. CP Rail then offered him a Blacksmith position in Winnipeg where he joined the CP Rail Weston Shops and had a 23 year rewarding career. He leaves behind his two sons, Laszlo Toth, and Stephen Toth (Heather Treller) and their sons Matyas and Ryan. His daughters Julie, (Les Csontos) predeceased, leaving grandchildren Kyle, Stephanie, and twins Adam and Andrew and Katalin (Jason Martin) and their children Edward, Alexander and Julianna. For us and those who knew and loved Bela, we will miss his indelible charm, his beguiling smile and his irrefutable words and ways wrapped in a Hungarian accent. Services will be held at BARDAL Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook Street, on Saturday July 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to the charity of your choice.
