LUCY BORDOLINSKI It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Lucy Bordolinski at Seven Oaks Hospital on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. She will be missed by her husband Richard, sons Vic and Mark, daughter Margaret and husband Rob Trager and grandchildren Katie and Riley, and her many grandnieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn her mother Olga Wolkowicz, brother Zbigniew and wife Zosia, sister-in-law Kazimiera Przybylo, nieces Grace and husband Lance, Anna and husband Bob, Terisa and husband John, Krysia and husband Kurt, Zenon and wife Trudy. She was predeceased by her father Joseph Wolkowicz, parents-in-law Joseph and Anastazja Bordolinski and brother-in-law Michal Przybylo. Lucy was born in Poland on February 4, 1942. She settled in Canada in 1958 with her mother and brother. She married Richard in 1960 and they started a family a few years later. She was a devoted wife/ best friend, mother and Babcia. In 1968, she began her hairdressing career, which she enjoyed until her retirement. Ever the people person, she always greeted you with a smile, a kind word and a song in her heart. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Her interests and hobbies varied, among them her love of reading, gardening and her time spent singing in the St. Cecilia choir. She touched the lives of many, and will be missed by all that knew her. Special thanks to Dr. Barry MacMillan and the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior to mass at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Avenue. Interment will be at Holy Ghost Cemetery, followed by a reception at Glen Eden Funeral Hall. Pallbearers will be Mark Bordolinski, Vic Bordolinski, Robert Trager, Lance Kapusta, Zenon Wolkowicz and Kurt Marchak. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lucy's memory to Seven Oaks Hospital Palliative Care Unit, 2300 McPhillips Avenue. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
