Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE ZEMLA (nee Demydowich) On July 24, 2007 Mom passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Mom was born on July 09, 1930 in Komarno, MB to Peter and Mary Demydowich. Mom's ultimate joy in life was her family. She always loved get togethers and her heart and home always open to all. Mom's other passion was her flower and vegetable garden where she spent countless hours using the sun as her clock. She frequently said that the day was never long enough, with the morning sun being the favorite time of her day. Mom is survived by daughters Bev Skazel (Cris), Linda Probetts (Bruce), Wendy, and sons Greg (Tracy) and Brad. Grandma held a special place in her heart for all of her grandchildren, ensuring that her morals, values, and sense of family were instilled in all of them. They will miss her immensely. She is also survived by Sister Julia of Sparta, brothers Bill of Edmonton, Frank of Minneapolis, and Tom of Emerson. Mom was predeceased by her husband Stan in 1995, son Barry in 2005, her parents Mary and Peter, Sister Eileen Sokol and Brother Joe. Mom, we were truly blessed to have you in our lives, and we hold you in our hearts forever. The family would like to express their gratitude to 8APCU at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care during Mom's stay. Your compassion and kindness will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Mom's life will be held 2:00 p.m Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 E. at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
