JAMES (JIM) HAMILTON McMILLAN January 21, 1934 - July 22, 2007 After a courageous battle with a stroke and renal problems, Jim succumbed to his illness on July 22, 2007, in Pinawa Hospital. He was a loving and giving husband, father, grandpa and brother and he loved his family dearly. They were the light of his life. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, June; sisters Margaret Eschuk and family, Cathy Nicolls (Ipswich, England) and family; sons David (Maggie), Gordon (Annie); and daughter Eileen (Brian); grandchildren Amanda, Steven and Amber. He retired from Air Canada after 32 years of service. We would like to thank all those Air Canada employees who took the time to visit Jim while he was in hospital. Your presence brought him comfort and happiness. His family would like to thank the doctors and staff of St. Boniface Hospital, especially Lucien, who took very good care of Jim. The greatest thanks go to Dr. Richard Van Gend, nursing staff, nurse's aides and all other staff of Pinawa Hospital for their respect, kindness and compassion. They made sure Jim was comfortable every minute of the day and for that we are truly grateful. Special thanks to our loving neighbours and very special friends for their prayers and support during Jim's battle. At Jim's request there will be no service. Flowers gratefully declined - donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation. We will miss you forever in our hearts Jimmy, Dad, Grandpa.
