MAVIS MYRTLE MILLER It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Mavis on July 28, 2007 at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. She was 84 years of age. Mavis was predeceased by her husband Duncan (Buster) Miller in 1988 and sisters, Joyce and Laura. She is survived by three sons, Duncan (June), John (Marie) and Len (Kathy); grandchildren, Willie (Amy), Dawn Marie (Mario), Christopher (Samantha), Scott (Jennifer), Michelle and her mother Eunice; great grandchild Tristan and brother Bill Haining (Evelyn). Mavis was born in the R.M. of Morris, MB where she lived on the family farm and attended school. After marriage, relocated to Saskatoon and had many good friends on York Avenue. Curling and bowling were hobbies that Mavis enjoyed. Due to her husband's employment they lived in Toronto and returned to Saskatoon to enjoy retirement. After becoming a widow, relocated to Winnipeg in 1990 to be closer with immediate family. Mavis was well cared for at Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, which the family appreciated. Thanks to all the caring staff. The Funeral Service will be held at Acadia Drive Funeral Chapel, 915 Acadia Dr. North (306-955-1600) in Saskatoon on Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Saskatoon to reunite Mavis with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mavis's memory to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3E 0V9. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
