They had their five children while farming at the Marks homestead at Niverville. In 1953 they moved to Arnes with their family where they continued to farm until their retirement. They enjoyed 68 wonderful years of marriage together. In earlier years Marjorie was involved in Niverville's Ladies Aid, Arnes Ladies Aid, and was also a member of the Gimli Lutheran Church. Marjorie loved gardening, flowers, watching birds out her window, and her handiwork (knitting and sewing items throughout the years). Grannie's door was always open and she was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Nothing was more important to Grannie than her family, which she loved to have around her. She will always have a special place in all of our hearts.
