OTTO ALLAN MAZOLLECK It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Al Mazolleck on July 29, 2007 at the age of 78, at St. Boniface Hospital. Al is survived by his loving wife Helen, his daughters, Janice (Gary) Wakeham; children, Alyson, Kristen (Ben), and Brett, Cathy (Doug) Coates; children, Barrett, Jordan and Evan, Lori (David) Faurschou; children, Aaron, Jenna and Katelyn, and his son Rob Mazolleck, as well as his sisters, Gladys, Joyce and Kay. Al was predeceased by his parents; his brother Ren and nephew Wayne Openshaw. Al's happiest moments were spent with his family, under the hood of a car, or working with anything mechanical and cooking. In his final days and hours he expressed his love to each of us as we surrounded him with love and big hugs. A private graveside service will be held August 2. An open house celebrating Al's life will be held on August 2 from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the home of Cathy and Doug Coates. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors and nurses in the CICU at St. Boniface for their compassionate, tender care of dad and their kindness to our family through these difficult days.
