LOCKEN July 17, 1907 - July 30, 2007 Edna passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Maples Personal Care Home two weeks after her 100th Birthday. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Wayne (Alice) and Janice (Earle) Tole; grandchildren, Alan, Gary (Lisette), Kevin, Greg (Crystal); great-grandchildren, Cameron and Melissa; as well one brother Donald (Ruth) Newberg of Hyas, Saskatchewan, and also many nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her husband Emil in 1980, sisters Alice, Gladys, Evelyn, Viola, and brothers Lloyd and Virgil. Edna was a hard working, loving and caring woman who always put her family first and foremost. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Maples Personal Care Home for their compassion and care of our mother. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3L 0K6.
