Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE PERSOAGE (nee HOPKO) Born July 11, 1915, passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, July 30, 2007. Predeceased by her father Nykola; mother Sophia (nee Medwid); husband Nick (July 1966); daughter Margaret Penner and grandson Karl Penner (June 1980); brothers, Peter, Mike, Bill, Jim; and sisters, Jessie Berard, Mary Drohomereski, Rosie Drohomereski, Annie Kulmatycki, Elma Ziyone, Lena Pashnyk. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her son Richard Persoage, daughter Sophie Crow, sister Betty Woloshyn, granddaughter Jocelyn Crow, grandson Mark Penner (Natasha), and great-granddaughter Brianna Penner, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her family would like to thank the staff at Goodwin Lodge and Hunter Memorial Hospital for their loving care, kindness, and support. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, August 2, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. at the MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Orthodox Church, Pleasant Home. Tea reception to follow. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Goodwin Lodge, PO Box 89, Teulon, MB R0C 3B0. She is gone from our lives but remains forever in our hearts.
