WILLIAM EDWARD MCDONALD 1940 - 2007 Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, William Edward McDonald, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 67, passed away July 27, 2007, at Vernon and District Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer yet still maintaining his sense of humour. He will be deeply and forever missed by: his loving wife, Janice, to whom he was married for 43 years; his sons, W. Cameron (Tara Wilkie) of Montreal, QC; Gordon (Julie) of Brooks, AB; Colin, of Seoul, South Korea. Granddaughters, Wellesley, Islay, Aislyn and Reagyn will cherish their memories of Gramps who loved them dearly. Bill is further survived by his Aunt Beryl Bell; cousins, Diane (Neil) Gray, David (Liz) Bell; sister-in-law Glenda Hildebrand; and many other family and friends. Talking politics and playing golf with anyone who wanted to play were some of his passions. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Bill's memory to Vernon and District Hospice House, 3506 - 27 Avenue, Vernon, BC V1T 1S4. A private family gathering will take place.
