Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMAUREEN KIM MARIE DENICH It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Maureen Kim Marie Denich on Friday, July 27, 2007 at the age of 50 years. Remaining to forever cherish Maureen's memory are her children, Jacqueline and Chris; former partner Ron; stepbrother Ken; nephews, Sean and Ryan (Los Angeles); Auntie Doreen and Uncle Bill; cousin Danny; many more relatives; as well many close co-workers and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Louise and father Edward. Born on February 20, 1957, in Port Arthur, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Maureen's family moved to Winnipeg shortly after her birth and that is where she spent her childhood as well as the remainder of her life. Maureen was a gentle, kind person who has touched many people's hearts with her ever warming and humorous personality. She loved her hobbies and that's how she spent most of her time; in her garden , spending time with her children, doing projects on her house, with her two dogs Sarah and Lady, working with her co-workers who were like an extended family and of course she always loved reading a good book. Mom was active in the community, participated in the local elections and provided a warm and loving foster home for abandoned animals. As a very strong and independent person, Maureen was a woman with many goals and dreams. She worked very hard towards achieving her goals and had many dreams for herself and her children. On Friday, August 3, Maureen's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Westwood Community Church, 401 Westwood Drive. Interment will follow in the Assumption Roman Catholic Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. On behalf of the family, we would like to send a special thanks to her co-workers and friends who have been very helpful in this time of need. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen's memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R2L 1X3. You are, an angel watching over us and you'll forever be in are hearts. We love you and miss you so much and not a day will go by that we don't think of you. Like you always said Mom, live in the present, learn from the past and always plan for the future. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM FAMILY OWNED OPERATED 897 - 4665
