HENRY J. PENNER 1921 2007 On Monday, July 30, 2007 at Menno Home for the Aged in Grunthal, MB, Henry J. Penner aged 85 years formerly of Chortitz and Winnipeg went to his eternal rest. He leaves to mourn his passing six daughters, five sons and their families as well as three sisters and four brothers. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary (nee Goertzen) in 1997; one son-in-law; three sisters and two brothers. Public viewing will be at Wiebe Funeral Home, 121 8th St. in Winkler on Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Chortitz Old Colony Mennonite Church with Bishop Peter Elias officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry's memory to the Menno Home for the Aged, Box 280, Grunthal, MB, R0A 0R0.
