NICK (NICHOLAS) CIENKI Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, after a brief illness, at the Beausejour Hospital, Nick passed away at the age of 83 years. Nick was born, raised and lived his entire life in Cooks Creek, Manitoba. He enjoyed working on his farm and dedicated over 30 years at Westeel. He was predeceased by his wife Teresa, his parents, brother John, and sisters Ann and Mary. He is survived by his sisters Olga Ostasz and Katharine Forestell, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews as well as his stepson Gunther Ernst. Nick also leaves to mourn his special granddaughter Tina Lawson and her family. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 4 at 10:30 a.m. at The Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB with Father Taras Kowch officiating.
