Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARINA CHRISTINE VITELLI October 15, 1967 - July 31, 2007 It is with deep sorrow after a courageous and lengthy battle with cancer Marina passed away with her loving family by her side on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at the Riverview Health Centre. Marina was a beautiful loving mother and wife to Michael Devlin and their two precious children, eight year old son Jack and two year old daughter Madison. A wonderful caring and devoted daughter to parents Christine and Marino Vitelli. She was a dear sister to her two brothers Derek (Jen) and Dale (Angie), a great auntie to nephews Nicky, Reece and Dylan Vitelli. Marina was special to the Devlin family, mother-in-law Anne, father-in-law Tom (Yvette) brother-in-law Scott (Wendy) sisters-in-law Jen (Steve) and Leigh (Wayne), nephews Tyler, Ryan, Justin, Jordan and niece Julieanna, nephews Braeden and Alexander. Loving grandparents (Nana and Papa) Mary and Walter Melnyk, Auntie Pat and Uncle Wayne, cousins Tracey (Ruben), Tricia (Marcelo), Claudette (Trevor) and their children, and numerous loyal friends. Thank you for all your love and support during this difficult time. Predeceased by her grandparents Rosina and Mario Vitelli. Marina was born and raised in Winnipeg. She was the pride and joy of her parents and family. She graduated from Grant Park High School in 1985. Marina was an excellent student and gave her very best in everything she did. She loved sports; playing basketball and then playing baseball for Grant Park Harrow midget fastball team. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Bachelor of Science Degree. Marina joined King Optical, shortly thereafter Marina was selected regional sales manager for Calgary and British Columbia. She then went on to the position of national sales manager for all of Canada for 15 years. Marina and Michael were married on August 14, 1993. They enjoyed entertaining friends and family. She was a wonderful host and loved to organize special events, birthday parties, anniversaries or just to celebrate the moment. Her greatest joy was going to her son Jack's soccer and hockey games and spending time at West Hawk Lake in Moonlight Bay. Marina's strong Christian faith was evident in her daily life and carried her through many difficult times. She touched so many lives in so many ways and yet she often didn't realize the impact she had on people's lives. We are all blessed for having her in our lives, even if it was for a short time. We will all deeply miss her. We believe that she is at peace now free from pain, laughing and dancing with the angels in heaven. The family wishes to thank the Dr. R. Wong, nurses and staff at St. Boniface Hospital and Riverview Health Centre, 3E, for their kindness and compassion toward Marina over the past two years. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, at 2:00 p.m. with Fr. Zachary Shwaluk, OSBM officiating. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers those who wish may donate to an Education Trust Fund for her children and can do so through the Scotia Bank at 1 - 9 Killarney Avenue. We Love You and we will all miss you Arrangements entrusted to: Glen Eden Funeral Home 4477 Main Street 338-7111
