HENDRIK GERRIT (HENK) NOORDMAN It is with deep sadness we announce that our Dad and Opa passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness at the Luther Personal Care Home on July 31, 2007 at the age of 85 years. Henk was predeceased by his loving wife Corrie in 1991. He will be sadly missed by his children, Diane Bannerman, Dick (Jeri) Noordman of Saskatoon, Harry (Maureen) Noordman, Cora (Greg) Krall, Jan (Sharon) Noordman, Trudy Paterson, David (Joy) Noordman, and Leesa (Warren) Dahl; by his grandchildren, Cora (Dave) Bell, Jennifer (Shawn) Bell and Kate and Richard Resch; Jason Noordman, Andrea and Pamela Noordman; Dan and Tabitha Noordman, Derek (Jamie) Noordman and Dayna (Adam) Noordman; Carly (Ivan) Krall; Nathan Noordman; Lucas Paterson; Danielle Noordman; Rebecca, Elisabeth and Emily Dahl; and ten great-grandchildren. They are the legacy he left behind. He is also survived by one sister Henny Knol of Winnipeg and family in Holland. Henk was born in Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1959. He was long time resident of West Kildonan and a member of West Kildonan Legion where he had many friends. He was a skilled carpenter and a jack of all trades. A devoted husband and father, his happiest times were spent surrounded by his family. He spent his life providing for his family and we will always be grateful for that. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Luther Home for their kind and compassionate care of our Dad this past year. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment to follow at a later date. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg. Phone 668-3151.
