GEORGE MOZEL August 1, 1938 - August 1, 2007 Peacefully on August 1, 1007, George passed away at Health Sciences Centre, with family and friends at his bedside. George was predeceased by his father Alex and his mother Antonette. He is survived by his wife Penny, sons James (Kathy) and Jeff (Tracey) and daughter Kelly (Frank), and grandchildren: Cierra, Austin and Marissa; brother Allen (Jean), sisters: Pat (Cam), Gloria (Len), Gail (Joe), and nieces and nephews: Larry, Darlene, Miles, Michelle, Shane, Ryan, Dustin, Chris, Dana and Lorelei. George enjoyed collecting, and found treasures around every corner. He lived for the adventure, not the outcome. His adventures made him friends from all walks of life. He enjoyed life at his own pace, taking the time to lend a helping hand to family and friends. He always thought of others before himself. Over the past few years, George admirably with strength and courage battled lymphoma cancer. He will be greatly missed by everyone. A special thank-you to Dr. Johnston of CancerCare Manitoba, and to George's close friends who always knew when to check in on him. A service to celebrate George's life will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy., with viewing at 10:30 a.m. and a service at 11:00. a.m. Reception to follow.
