MARLENE BITTNER Marlene Bittner, loved by family and friends, passed away peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital on Thursday, August 2, 2007, at the age of 57 years. Marlene was predeceased by her parents Otto and Clementine also by one brother Oscar. She is survived by her brother George (Bertha) Bittner; nephews Joey (Corrine) and great-niece Torrie; Trevor and niece Sandra (Kevin) and great-niece Bryn and her brother Frank (Lucie) Bittner and nephew Shannon and niece Elissa. Marlene rejoiced in celebrations and her nieces and nephews and great-nieces meant the world to her. Her sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of 3B at the St. Boniface Hospital for the care and compassion they gave to Marlene. Cremation has taken place and a memorial mass will be held on Wednesday August 8, at 11:00 a.m., in St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 505 Brewster St., Transcona. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Marlene can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. The Coutu Family in care of arrangements: E.J COUTU CO.
