MARGARET NELLIE HARDING (formerly Hogue) Suddenly, after a brief illness, Margaret Harding passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital on August 2, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Mom's last day was very hard for her and we're grateful that she didn't suffer too long. Mom was born in St. Andrews, MB. As a young girl Mom met our father, Albert Hogue, and together they raised 11 children. Mom loved her children more than anything else. Mom adopted' lots of kids through the years. All of our friends loved Mom, she'd always be there to listen to them. They all wished that she was their Mom and we, her children, were lucky enough to have her as our Mom, all these years. It's not ever going to be the same without her, but she'd wanted us to be strong and be there for each other. And in honour of our Mom we will do just that. Mom is survived by her devoted companion of many years, Victor Roche, who brought her much peace and happiness in life. Also her children, Sandra, Suzie (Allan), Irene, Candy, Judy (Henry), Larry (Edna), Wayne, Danny (Marlene), Terry (Charlene), Tracey (Barry) and Debbie her youngest; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There are many of them, all whom she loved dearly. Many nieces and nephews whom she was most fond of with a special place in her heart for Donna and Rob who visited frequently. Mom loved these visits. Also niece Shirley in BC who always sent her cards and letters making her feel so special and loved; her loving sister Jean in BC; beloved brothers, Spencer (Agnes) and Martin Hardy Harding. Also she leaves behind Baby her talking budgie, whom she spent hours with teaching him words. Mom was predeceased by her mother, Charlotte; father William; sisters, Christabel, Eleanor, Marjorie and Kay; brothers, Phillip and Johnny. Also her son-in-law Bob and daughter-in-law Lisa. Mom enjoyed the simple pleasure of life, having her family over sitting outside on a breezy day. Mom's favourite phase was the more the merrier Mom looked so forward to celebrating Christmas Eve with her family. She loved to sit on the patio of her townhouse until late at night. She loved travelling to BC by train. Everyone was welcome at Mom's house and everyone loved her. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be mom's sons, Larry, Wayne, Danny, Terry and sons-in-law Barry and Henry. TILL WE MEET AGAIN OUR SWEET MOM. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
