Rikki Lauren Bruyere August 5 - November 21, 2006 You would be one year old today. And we'll celebrate your birth, Although our hearts are aching, And we miss you here on earth. The angels get to hold you, And kiss your beautiful face. You have gone to heaven, And we have heartache in your place. Although it was for the best, That Jesus took you home. We'll forever miss you. And cry when we're alone. You weren't born of my body, But you surely owned my heart. And this heart will never mend, As long as we're apart. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk all the way to heaven just to hold you again. I pray for your mommy and daddy, And for your Grandma too That one day we'll be in heaven And once again with you. Darling baby Rikki we think of you always and we miss you so very much.
