ERVIN R. PLUCHINSKE On Sunday, August 5, 2007, Ervin passed away peacefully at West Park Manor Personal Care Home at the age of 84 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ervin's memory are his wife Mary; children, Lenore LaCroix (Dale), Reg, Rhonda Smith (Ron), Gloria Klassen (Gerhard) and Todd (Nina); sister Clara; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Anton and Helen; brothers, Ernie and Walter, and sister Pat. Ervin was born and raised in the Rosenfeld area. Dad and Mom were married in 1944 and celebrated 63 wonderful years together. For many years, he owned and operated E E Construction Company Ltd. He loved the outdoors but most importantly loved to get together with family and friends. On Thursday, August 9 Ervin's funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the Messiah Lutheran Church, 400 Rouge Road off Portage Avenue in St. James, with Pastor Carol Janke presider. The family would like to offer thanks to the staff at West Park Manor for the care and compassion they provided Dad, especially in his final days with us. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ervin's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10 - 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 4G2.
