Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE CLAIRE GINGRAS LEDIG (nee COUTU) It is with great sadness that the children of Marie announce her passing on Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Victoria Hospital at the tender age of 84 years. Remaining to forever cherish Marie's memory are her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, numerous relatives and friends; Norma and Bob (Carol, Kenny, Brenda (Kerri) Tristan; (Dan) Heather, Mitchell) Paul and Joy (Tammy (Leo), Shane) Roland and Sharon (Michelle (Rick) Ashley, Andrew, Kaitlin; Danielle (Jason), Andee, Gavin; (Jason) Jessica, Haley) Jacqueline and Douglas ((Sharon), Brittney, Bryce; (Kim), Melissa, Kaitlin) Robert and Sonya (Darcey (Kevin), Ryan) Arthur ((Michael), Danielle; (George) Kaleb; Robert) Roger (Karen), Danielle and David (Mark, Ryan) Ronnie, Caroline (Tommy, Pauline); sisters Julie (John), Yvette (Mike), Jeannie (Cliff), Bonnie (Jack) and Rita. She was predeceased by her first husband George Gingras; parents Joseph and Anna Coutu; sisters, Margaret, Rose, Millie, Alexandra and Annette; brothers Lawrence, Leo; daughter-in-law Judy. Mom will be remembered by her kindness to others and her love and commitment for her family. She had a great sense of humour throughout her life, even during the many troubled times she had. Although Mom is gone, she will remain in our thoughts and hearts forever. Marie's funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 10:30 a.m. in the Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's memory to the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, 1679 Pembina Highway, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3G 2G6, where she resided till her passing.
