FRANCIS (FRANK) WILLIAM MCFADYEN 1943 - 2007 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Francis (Frank) William McFadyen on Friday, August 3, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was born January 24, 1943 in Winnipeg and was raised in Camper, MB. He worked in construction most of his life. For a few years he worked for Inco in Thompson, but returned to Winnipeg and worked for Walter and Ken Klassen at Tessliers Iron. Frank loved hunting, fishing, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends. Frank will be greatly missed by his loving wife Bev of 29 years. His children of a previous marriage, Eileen (Dave), Eddie, Elaine (Leon), Francis (Neil); 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Florence, Shirley (Otto); mother-in-law Roberta; daughter-in-law Kelly, many nieces, nephews, good friends and those who knew him. He was predeceased by son Elvin; grandson Madden; father Sidney; mother Jane; brother Albert; brothers-in-law, Gerry and Chuck. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Ashern Gospel Chapel with Pastor Bill Watson officiating. Service will conclude at the church with a luncheon to be held at the Ashern Legion Hall. A private interment service will be held at Brookside cemetery in Winnipeg at a later date. Special thanks to Dr. Steyn, nurses and staff at the Lakeshore General Hospital for the wonderful care they gave Frank.
