GARY JOHN WILLIAM KULLMAN October 6, 1956 - August 5, 2007 Unexpectedly, on August 5, 2007, Gary Kullman, aged 50 years, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital. Gary was born and raised in Winnipeg. He completed his high school education at River East Collegiate and obtained his mechanics' license at Red River College. He was the fourth of five children born to Adolf and Jennie Kullman, who both predeceased him. He was also predeceased by his brother Bruce. He is survived by his wife Frances, daughter Holly (Nelson), and beloved dog Cassie; his mother- and father-in-law Selma (Wally) and Menno; his brothers Rick (Linda) and Brian (Joanne); his sister Kathy Andersson (Lars); his sisters-in-law Beverly Ganchar and Audrey (Clayton) Scott; his brother-in-law Rick (Terry) Nawolski; his nieces Adrienne, Lauren, and Maria; his nephew Eric; his special friend and boss Terry (Angie) Munro, and numerous extended family and friends. Gary had been employed for the past 10 years as a mechanical auto service expert at Midas Auto Service Centre. Amongst other things, he had a passion for cars and helping others, so his job at Midas allowed him to do both. Gary was a loving and devoted husband and father, whose family loved and devoted themselves to him as much as he did to them. He loved attending (and subsequently, analyzing) Bomber games with his daughter, Holly, and playing golf with his many friends. Not only did he enjoy playing golf, he loved teaching what he knew to anyone who would listen. Gary was also known for his boyish charm smile and his great sense of humour; he could light up a room with his smile. The family would like to thank the numerous medical staff at St. Boniface General Hospital who provided excellent care during his short stay. Funeral mass will held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at Holy Redeemer Parish, 264 Donwood Drive, Winnipeg. Cremation has taken place and a private interment will take place at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Pereira, Steven Lloyd, Eric Andersson, Brian Kullman, Rick Kullman, and Lars Andersson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gary's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division (division office), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3C 2B7.
