Born March 15, 1936 in Selkirk, Manitoba, Dick spent his early years in the Petersfield area. Having also spent time in Winnipeg, Dick returned to Petersfield where he met the love of his life Marguerite Irvine. Dick and Marguerite raised five children and recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. Dick worked as an electrician for nearly 20 years, followed by a career in real estate where he stayed until his retirement.
