ANNETTE LAGASSE (nee PROTEAU) Peacefully and surrounded by her family, on August 7, 2007, Annette passed away at the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home. She was 80 years of age. Annette was predeceased by her loving husband Léonidas in 2000. She leaves to mourn her children, Dan (Jackie), Jackie Morin and Carol Gama; her grandchildren, Steve, Don (Tiffany) and Jim (Rachelle), Christopher, Kevin and Ashley; and her great-grandchildren, Jaedra, Brady, Kesslyn, Taylor, Dakota, Paige and Brooke; brothers and sisters, Alice Little (Glen), Irene Pastuzenko (Raymond), and Armand Proteau (Irene Frankowski). Annette was predeceased by her sister Lucille Perron (late Gerard); brothers, Edward Proteau (Lise Jolicoeur) and Victor Proteau (Joan Paulusma). She also leaves to mourn numerous brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Annette filled her life with music, sewing, gardening and taking care of her family. The family would like to thank the staff of the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home for their kindness and the loving care they provided. Special thanks also to the wonderful staff at Résidence Despins. Thank you Father Michaud for the constant support and prayers. Funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Gérald Michaud at the St. Adolphe Roman Catholic Church in St. Adolphe, Manitoba, on Saturday, August 11 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in the St. Adolphe Parish Cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Adolphe Personal Care Home for the funding of a sit to stand patient transfer system. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220.
