EILEEN PHYLLIS HARRISON October 22, 1921 - August 8, 2007 Quietly, surrounded by family, Eileen passed away at Boyne Lodge. She grew up in Osborne, Manitoba, and on June 22, 1946, married the love of her life, Gordon. Together they operated the family farm for over 50 years before retiring to Carman in 1998. Family was a top priority to Mom and she will be fondly remembered by her children, Cliff (Janice), Bev (Doug Anseeuw), Cheryl (Wayne McPherson); grandchildren, Deanna (Bruce), Jodi, Gavin, Marni (Darren), Garth (Ashley), Blaine, Jason (Carmen), Roberta (Travis), Ellen, Andrew; great-grandchildren, Brice, Brick, Shayla, Ava, and sister Dorothy. Eileen was predeceased by her husband Gordon in 2004; her parents, Blaine and Grace Roberts; her brothers, Paul, Roscoe, and William. Mom loved her garden and houseplants and was affectionately known as the Violet Lady . Her hands were always busy creating or teaching others a new craft. Mom passed her love of animals, big and small, on to her grandchildren. A celebration of Eileen's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2007.
