JEAN HARACZAY (TOKASH) September 1, 1929 - August 8, 2007 Peacefully with her family by her side, Jean passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. Jean was predeceased by her father Joseph and mother Katherine. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bill, her only daughter Janice (Bob). She is also survived by her sister Marion. Jean was born and raised in Gimli, MB on her parent's farm. Her favourite memory of Gimli was working with her father at a very young age on the Goldfield Boat cooking for the fishermen. She loved animals and birds and fed anything that came around and had a great affection for each dog in her life, especially Kelly. She will always be remembered for her good heart, generous spirit and great sense of humor. The family would like to thank the Seven Oaks Hospital, Level 3 and the Maples Personal Care Home for all their care, kindness and compassion. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main St., Winnipeg. The Clock of Life The clock of life is wound but once And no man has the power To tell just where the hands will stop, At late or early hour. To lose one's wealth is sad indeed, To lose one's health is more. To lose one's soul is such a loss As no man can restore. The present only is our own. Live, love, toil with a will. Place no faith in tomorrow' For the clock may then be still. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society.
