EDWARD HENRY (TED) MURRAY December 22, 1928 - August 4, 2007 Edward Henry Ted Murray, of Rainy River, Ontario, passed away quietly at Riverside Health Care Facility-Rainy River Hospital. Ted was the third son of Adele Mathilda (Carpenter) and George Micheal Murray. Born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Ted was predeceased by both his parents and five of his brothers: George Arthur, Alfred William, Lawrence Leonard, Stephen Micheal and Terrence Albert. Ted is survived by his daughters: Mary Adele (Terry) Wood of Fort Frances, ON, Doreen Jacqueline (Joe) Cogger of Thunder Bay, ON, grandchildren Jonathon Edward Murray-Wood, James Mark Whitefield, Joshua Arron Bruyere, Angela Joelle, Jenna Marie and Jacob Robert Edward Cogger and great-grandchild Keira Starr Copenace. Also surviving is one brother Theodore Patrick of Rainy River, Ontario, and one sister Patricia Ann (Melvin) Borgen of Baudette, Minnesota, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 9, 11:00 a.m., at the Rainy River Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 54. Pallbearers were Jonathon Murray-Wood, Angela Cogger, Theodore Murray and Glenn Borgen. Honorary pallbearers were Jenna Marie and, Jacob Cogger, James Whitefield, Joshua Bruyere and Keira Copenace. In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations can be made to Riverside Health Care Facility, The eCanadian Diabets Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
