ERNEST JOHN HALSTROM It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ernie Halstrom, aged 75 years, on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at Concordia Hospital. Ernie is survived by his loving wife Anne, daughter Debbie, sons Greg (Janet), Brad, daughter-in-law Trina (Paul) and sister Shirley. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Adam (Jennifer), Brian (Liane), Maureen (Joel), Amanda, Shayna, nieces Linda (Jared), Cathy (Dom), Donna, and nephews Mike and Roger. Ernie was predeceased by his son Jim in 1995. Ernie touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered. His health care providers and determination to help himself gave him many years of joy with friends and family. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held in his honour. In lieu of flowers, a gift to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Canadian Lung Association may be made in his memory. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
