Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE KUPCHUK It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Pauline Kupchuk (nee Hnybida), our cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, on August 9, 2007, at the River East Personal Care Home. Pauline was born in the RM of Strathclair on April 15, 1926, and grew up in the area along with her brothers, Steve, John and Peter, who predeceased her. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her husband Myron, sister Mary Shneider and stepbrother, Ed Rystephanuk; daughters, Brenda (Gene) Fontaine, Jan McKinnon, son Don (Iris) Kupchuk; grandchildren, Kim (Mike Lewicki, Peyton and Adam), Dave Fontaine and Melissa, Jody McKinnon, Sheri McKinnon, Dana (Fausto Chepil, Isaiah and Judah), Tami and Dave Cheetham and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Mom was the matriarch and caregiver of her family and fought the long battle until she was too tired, but her faith in God carried her through to a better place where we will have an angel watching over us. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff on Charity Lane for the care and compassion extended to Pauline. A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, August 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the River East Personal Care Home, 1375 Molson Street. If friends so wish, if lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the River East Personal Care Home (recreation Courage Bay) or to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba.
