VERNA KOSS (nee SLOBDIAN) Peacefully on Thursday, August 9, 2007, Verna Koss passed away at the Luther Personal Care Home at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her sons, Wayne and wife Dianne, Denis and wife Kathy; three grandsons, Drew and wife Lisa, Kyle and wife Charlene, and Cory; two granddaughters, Kelly (Kevin) and Cheryl (Dave); three great-granddaughters, Ashley, Haley and Kaela; two brothers-in-law as well as nieces and nephews. Verna was predeceased by her husband William in 1993. Verna was born in Foley, MB and raised in Winnipeg. She married William Koss in 1939. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway # 1 East at Navin Rd. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Verna's memory can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Manitoba, #100-1465 Buffalo Pl., Winnipeg, MB R3T 1L8 or a charity of one's choice.
