FLORENCE JACKSON Passed away peacefully at the age of 85, in her home surrounded by family, Sunday morning, August 12, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Charles Richard Jackson, Florence will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Carol (Mel) and Leslie, and her son Richard (Carol); her brothers, Ron (Molly) and Stan (Jane); her numerous nieces and nephews; her large extended family and her many long-time friends. Florence is predeceased by her sister Phyllis (Walter) and brothers, Ken (Helen) and Cliff (Betty). Florence graduated in 1977 from the University of Toronto with an Honours B.A. in Art History and enjoyed a fulfilling volunteer career with the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario. A memorial service will be held at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Art Gallery of Ontario or the charity of their choice.
