ERNIE M. SIWAK 1947 - 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our Father, Poppa, Husband, Son, Brother and Friend, Ernie, on Saturday, August 11, 2007, at the Grace Hospital at the age of 60 years. Remaining to forever cherish Ernie's memory are his Mother Anne; wife Bev; sister Inez (Bill) Gerlock; brother Lawrence (Lena); children, Colleen Buckberrough (Ross, Gabriel), Kim (Chris), Erin Rigby (Dave, Braeden), Morgan, Michael (Aaron, Noella); special brother Ken Green (Alva); as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and all his beloved four legged friends, Claire, Molly, Dixie, Jazz, Traker, Tehya and Chloe. He was predeceased by his father Maryon. A lover of fishing, talking with friends and spending time with family, Ernie was never short on ideas and loved to help solve any problems anybody brought to him. From his young days in Angusville to his passing in Winnipeg, he always loved to work. Whether it was selling cars or trailers, coaching National Ringette, or running construction sites, Ernie was a true leader. He was always able to see the big picture. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, August 16 at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Charles Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles Street, with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant, presiding. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue. The family would like to thank the Headingley Volunteer Paramedics, the ER doctor and staff as well as the ICU doctor for their kindness.
