Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNEVILLE SCARLETT SR. There is room enough in paradise, to have a home in glory. On August 11, 2007, Neville A. Scarlett Sr., husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and friend, went home to glory. Born June 1, 1938, in Hanover, Jamaica, he came to Canada in 1968. He married his beloved Veronica and began work at Old Dutch Potato Chips where he remained for over 30 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church where he served on committees, but his greatest joy was singing tenor in the choir. He enjoyed traveling, singing, playing dominoes and cards, fishing and being around family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Leah Smith, and leaves behind his wife of 39 years, Veronica; sons, Ronald (Laurie), Barrington, Perrie and Neville Jr (Linette); daughters, Margaret, Malvia and Millicent (Gerald); grandchildren, Scott, Michelle, Ezekiel, Emanuel, Madisyn, McKinley and Peridon. The family would like to thank the homecare staff and the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre Dialysis Unit as well as the wards A4 and D4. Viewing will take place on Friday, August 17, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal, 984 Portage Avenue (Aubrey Street entrance). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 18 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Donald at Graham). Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Portage Avenue.
