MARY MOLINSKI It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear mother, aged 82 years, of Winnipeg, who lost her courageous battle with cancer on August 11, 2007. She is survived by her children, Nancy Desmarais (Bob) and Tom (Debbie); grandsons, Paul Desmarais (Christina) of Yorkton, SK and Derek and Jeremy Molinski; great-grand-children, Dominick, Marisa and Mya Desmarais; sisters, Emily Kyle (Don) of St. Catharines, ON and Victoria Olchowecki (Alex) of Salt Spring Island, BC; brothers, Ted Mosquin (Linda) of Lanark, ON and Dan Mosquin (Stephie) of Brokenhead, MB, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Albert in 1987; father Bill Mosquin in 1974; mother Nellie (Kushnir) Mosquin in 1984; brothers, John Mosquin in 2004 and Harry Mosquin in 1991; nephew Lyndon Mosquin in 1998, and great-nephew Brent Smorang in 1995. Mary was born in Brokenhead, MB in 1925 and attended the local school. She took her Grade 12 at United College and teacher training at the old William Avenue site. She taught in several rural schools before leaving teaching to raise her family in Winnipeg. Our family wishes to thank Kay Kolada for being such a good friend to Mary. We also give thanks to the angels at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for the wonderful care our mother received. Cremation has taken place, and honouring mom's request, a service will not be held. A memorial for family and friends will be held at a later date. Donations in Mary's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Mom, we will love you forever and you will be missed by all.
