ALLAN WALLACE JOHNSTON September 27, 1958 - August 10, 2007 It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce that the world has lost a special person and Heaven has gained him. Our beloved father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle, brother-in-law, nephew and friend passed away on Friday, August 10, 2007, with his loving family by his side. Allan was predeceased by his sister, Wilma; his brother, Raymond; and by his infant daughter, Faye. Family remaining to cherish his memory are his former wife, Jacqueline Johnston and their children, Jesse (Marie), Melissa and Jason; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Anthony and Alyssa; parents, Joseph and Lena Johnston; brothers, Mel (Francis), Walter (Diane), Gerald (Joni), Jerry, Rick (Jeanette) and Conrad (Darlene); sisters, Velma (Wayne) and Darlene (Johnny); as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. A prayer service to celebrate Allan's life will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. Viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Both services will take place at the Wide World of Faith Church, 465 Alexander Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, with Pastor Marvin Simmons officiating. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be: Clayton, Marcel, Ian, Joseph, Morley, Clarence. The Honorary Pallbearers will be: Wayne Michell and Aaron Henry.
