MARIA CARREIRO Peacefully with her family at her side, Maria Carreiro passed away on August 10, 2007 at the St. Boniface General Hospital at the age of 75 years. Mom is lovingly remembered by her husband Luis, two sons, Edwardo and Jose Carreiro, grandson Paul Carreiro, and sisters, Lidia Cabral and Maria Jose Branco. Prayer service will take place on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, with viewing one-half hour prior to. Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
