JOAN VALENTINE (nee BOIVIN) Joan, our sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, suddenly passed away on August 11, 2007, at the age of 66. Joan will be sadly missed by her children, Debbie (Gordie) McDonald, Karen Soltes, Michael Soltes, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brothers, Wayne, Richard (Carlene), Robert (Wendy) and sisters, Sharon (Rene) and Donna (Gary). Joan was predeceased by her parents, Theresa and Wilfred, and brothers, Wilfred and Brian. Throughout her life Joan loved to garden, cook, crochet and her weekly trips to the casino. She took great joy in maintaining her home and her yard. Joan was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and her family meant the world to her. She always looked after everyone else never thinking of herself. Anyone who met her will never forget her. A private celebration of Joan's life will be held by her immediate family. Lovingly remembered - children, brothers and sisters and their families.
