Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNELSON JAMES STORSLEY 1919 - 2007 Nelson James Storsley, aged 88 years, of Beausejour MB, dearly beloved husband of Lillian, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at the Beausejour Hospital with his wife at his side. He was born on the Storsley homestead in the Beausejour area on March 20, 1919, the seventh child of James and Adeline Storsley. From a young lad he loved the farm and spent his entire working years as a dairy farmer in the Beausejour area, taking particular delight in his herd of registered Holsteins. He was a quiet, dedicated and tireless worker who provided well for his family. He was a life-long member of the St. Ouens Pentecostal Church. Nelson leaves to mourn his wife Lillian of 65 years, sons James (Donna), Dennis and Elson (Evelyn) and one daughter Darlene Stefanko (Wayne). He will be cherished by his grandchildren, Leroy Storsley (Joanne), Jennifer Boyko (Rob), Leighton Storsley (Jamie), Sharenda Wiebe (Charles), Devin Bray, Dustin and Jay Storsley; six great-grandchildren - Brittany, Braden and Owen Boyko and Ava, Hannah and Lucas Storsley. Nelson was predeceased by his brother William and sisters Linda Obie, Annie Newman, Isabelle Anderson, Mildred Brady, Arpah Redisky and is survived by his sisters Violet Leiman of Beausejour, Frieda Krushel of St. Helens, Oregon and Merle Herrold of Tangent, Oregon. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, MB with Rev. Cecil Dewey officiating. Viewing will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 20 also at the chapel and prior to the service. Donations in Nelson's memory may be made to St. Ouens Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice.
