DOREEN STOCKTON NEUFELD On August 15, 2007 we lost our best friend, Doreen Stockton Neufeld. The heart and soul of our family, Doreen was a creative, fun-loving free spirit who nurtured and entertained and enthralled us; she lived life to the fullest. Loved by all who knew her, she was the one to go to if you had a problem, felt like complaining or just wanted to have a laugh. No one's advice was ever better. Bursting with big ideas, everything Doreen did was on a grand scale. Full of love, she was our home free - somewhere safe to be when the world felt harsh. Doreen first enchanted Dick more than 50 years ago, and the spell has never been broken. She was the best mother that Brenley, Tayne and Richard could have ever dreamed of having. A delighted grandmother of eight, Doreen knew each of them as if they were her only one. Doreen will be remembered with love by her husband Dick Neufeld; daughter Brenley (Michael) Susser and children Shanel, Brookley and Brogan; daughter Tayne (Kevin) Lyle and children Foster, Delaney, Shea, Redford and Cully; and son Richard Neufeld. Please join us for a celebration of Doreen's life at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 20, 2007 at Westminster United Church, 745 Westminster Avenue at Maryland Street.
