HELEN KOSOWSKI Peacefully, with her family by her side, Helen Kosowski passed away on August 15, 2007. Born on the family farm near Inwood, MB, on February 15, 1917, Helen came to Winnipeg in 1937 where she met Joseph and married in 1940. She was a loving grandmother and a most trusted and reliable babysitter for all her grandchildren. She cared and worried dearly about everyone close to her. Throughout her 90 years, Helen lived a full and active live. She was always devoted to her family. She enjoyed knitting afghans for each grandchild. She was famous for bestowing homemade food packages on her family. She enjoyed growing her tomatoes, playing bingo and other activities at the Hedges where she lived the last five years.
