Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD JOHN MICHAEL BLONSKI 1967 - 2007 Suddenly on August 12, 2007, our beloved son, brother and friend was invited into the arms of Our Lord. Left to celebrate his life are: his mother, Frances, his sister, Mary, his twin brothers, Andrew (with Jamie, Riley and Raylene) and Michael, his brother Collin, and Randel Wynter, aunt Eva with Barbara and Neil McNeil, Ann with Mark Rogers and baby Alex, and Richard, and cousin Isabel Rucinski of Winnipeg; uncle Rudy Klaus with aunt Joy and family, aunt Hennie Klaus and family and numerous aunts and cousins of Edmonton, Regina and Thunder Bay. Edward was predeceased by his father, Leslie, grandparents Adolph and Josephine Blonski, great-grandmother Jadwiga Krassowski, uncle Steve Tomaszewski and aunt Irene, uncle Ronald and little' Ronnie, uncle Ludwig Rucinski with aunt Longina; grandmother Helen Klaus, as well as numerous family members of Edmonton. Eddie was born in Winnipeg on January 1, 1967. He attended Holy Ghost School, Edmund Partridge High School, Saint Paul's College and Maples Collegiate. During his college years he developed a passion for playing football. Edward's dream was not entirely extinguished after a severe leg injury during a Saint Paul's home game. He went on to volunteer coaching football with a variety of high school student groups. Eddie was an easy going, hard working individual who was always ready to assist others. His compassion for those in need was clearly demonstrated when Eddie was employed by the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority in the capacity of home care attendant. Four years later, he carried out maintenance duties at the Winnipeg Convention Centre. Eddie continued to work in this capacity at the Garden City Community Centre. Lastly, at the time of his death, Eddie was employed as a delivery driver for Bee-Clean Maintenance. He was a highly valued employee who was respected and well liked by management and co-workers alike. Eddie will always be remembered for his personality and his fun loving spirit by his family and friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, August 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church with an Oblate Father officiating. At a later date interment will follow at Holy Ghost Cemetery after cremation. WE LOVE YOU FOREVER EDDIE REST IN PEACE. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
