Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLORNA GENE FEINDEL (nee PAMENTER) February 28, 1945 - August 7, 2007 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorna in Canmore, Alberta, on the evening of August 7, 2007, from a brain aneurism. Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Lorna was predeceased by her father Eugene William (Jim) Pamenter and mother Vivian Marie (Gould) Pamenter. Lorna will be lovingly remembered by her children, son Scott of Calgary, Alberta, and daughter Shannon, son-in-law Shane Munro and granddaughter Tasmin of Canmore, Alberta; brother Don Pamenter, his wife Linda, nephew Stephen and niece Sandra of Halifax, Nova Scotia; aunts Laura Hamilton of Amherst, Nova Scotia, and Chris Musson of Calgary, Alberta; and the many friends Lorna held so dear. Lorna received her Registered Nursing and Public Health Nursing diplomas at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This launched a successful career in public health and health services administration spanning over 34 years. She was a believer in lifelong learning and later received her Bachelor of Arts degree followed by a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Central Michigan. Lorna was a true professional and was very proud to have worked in the health care field. All will miss Lorna's vitality, strength of character and sense of adventure. Before her passing Lorna wrote, My greatest joys in life are my daughter Shannon, son Scott, granddaughter Tasmin, son-in-law Shane and my wonderful friends. I would wish to thank all of them for sharing themselves with me. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations can be made in Lorna's name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, www.heartandstroke.ca A celebration of Lorna's life will be held on Friday, August 24, 2007, at 4:00 p.m. at 100 Rue Saint Pierre, St. Norbert, Manitoba.
