CHRISTOS MIKOS It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and brother on Sunday, August 19, 2007. Christos was born on March 15, 1917 in Lagadia, Greece. After marrying and starting a family he immigrated to Winnipeg on March 14, 1959, where he became a part of the Greek Community and where he worked at Motor Coach until he retired. Christos will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Leo (Kiki), Paul (Roula) and Jennie; his brothers, Anastasis (Athanasia) and Peter (Maria), and his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Christos was predeceased by his parents Ioanna and Stefano; his wife Paraskevi; his brothers, Elia, Niko and Apostolo, and his son-in-law George. Prayers will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. with the funeral to be held at the same location on Wednesday, August 22 at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Chris Mikos, Steve Mikos, Ernie Mikos, Valandi Mikos, John Panagopoulos, Brian Locken, Taso Douklias and Angelo Nikitas. Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home 885-9715
