OLLIE (OLGA) LARK (nee HUTZAN) It is with the greatest of sadness that we announce the passing of Ollie (Olga) Lark, beloved wife, precious mother and grandmother, at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg on August 17, 2007, one day shy of her 81st birthday. The family would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Mallick and his staff in the ICU for the loving care they showed her in her final hours. Ollie passed surrounded by the devoted love of her family, her husband of 56 years Art, son Cal and wife Kathy, and grandchildren Samantha and Adam. Born August 18, 1926, in Fort William, Ontario (Thunder Bay), Ollie was predeceased by her parents Kozma and Rose Hutzan; sister Mary, and brothers Bill and John. While she had spent the last 33 years in Winnipeg enjoying life, her heart had remained in Thunder Bay where she made many visits from the cottage to keep in touch with family and friends. For those that knew her, a kinder or gentler soul you could not find. Her compassion for others knew no bounds, and those she touched in life were better for the experience. Words can not express our loss but know that heaven has gained an angel, as we have lost ours here on earth. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be a reception Tuesday, August 21, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Charles Golf and Country Club, 100 Country Club Road, Winnipeg, to celebrate her life. Following her wishes, graveside service will take place Friday, August 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Mountainview Cemetery, Thunder Bay, her final resting place. If friends or family so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in Ollie's name can be made to the Rotary Memorial Fund, 2202 - 65 Swindon Way, Winnipeg, MB R3P 0T8, or to a charity of your choice. Grandma Family ties are lasting bonds woven in each heart That keeps a family close in thought together or apart We Love you Grandma Samantha and Adam neil bardal inc 949-2200 www.nbardal.mb.ca
