MIKE TYCHOLAS With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Mike on August 18, 2007, at the age of 82. Mike was predeceased by his cherished wife Stephanie (Kwizak) in 1974, his brother and four sisters. Mike will be fondly remembered by daughters Phyllis (Ted) Shwaluke, Alison Bach (Dennis), son Vince (Grace) Tycholas, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and longtime family friend Rose Fegus. Mike was a power engineer with Molson's (Carlings) Breweries for 31 years. After he retired in 1985, he was actively involved with CPAC, St. Nicholas Church and the CRA Volunteer Income Tax Program. The family sincerely thanks the MICU and H4 wing of the Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate care. Prayers will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 21 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 22 at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., with a Basilian Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Nicholas Church Maintenance Fund, 737 Bannerman Ave., Winnipeg, R2X 1J9.
