MARGARET ROSE CAPUSKA (nee JOHNSON) June 5, 1934 - August 6, 2007 Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, on Monday, August 6, 2007, at the Hunter Memorial Hospital, Teulon, Margaret passed away at the age of 73. Margaret will be lovingly remembered and missed by her husband of 52 years, Laddie; her two sons Lyall (Kym Edinborough), Greg (Melori) and four grandchildren Lyall Jr. and Tyson; Katrina and Winston. She is also survived by her sister Julia Lee (George) and brother Bob (Dorothy) along with many nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Mary and Arthur Johnson, brother Arthur and sister Doreen Capuska. Margaret was born and raised in the Teulon area. On October 2, 1954, she married the love of her life, Laddie. Margaret worked as a telephone operator for several years until 1968 when her and Laddie purchased a farm near Winnipeg Beach. Together they operated a dairy farm until 1988 and then grain farmed until 2002 when they retired. Margaret had a very outgoing personality, and loved to talk to anyone. She also enjoyed entertaining family and friends. She loved to cook and bake and was always eager for someone to try one of her new recipes. Margaret's greatest joy was her four grandchildren, especially when they would all be at the farm playing together. She always made sure she had plenty of chocolate chip cookies to go around and lots of big Grandma hugs. The family would like to thank Dr. Graham and the wonderful nurses and staff at the Teulon hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Teulon Hall, Teulon, Manitoba. Memorial donations may be made to the Teulon Hunter Memorial Hospital.
