ALBERT (CHAB) RENE CHARTRAND September 27, 1938 - August 20, 2007 It is in great sadness we announce the passing of Albert Rene Chartrand of St. Laurent, MB at the age of 68 years. Albert is survived by his wife Louise; his seven children, Randy (Paulette), Armand (Trish), Audrey (Erwin), Sandra (Gary), Carl (Jessica), Dwayne and Stacy; his 17 grandchildren, Germain Jr., Armand Jr., Dacey, Ella, Monique, Marina, Tanya, Ashley, Carleigh, Cassidy, Kevin, Domina, Danielle, Dayna, Hunter, Delany and Adele; his 16 great-grandchildren; his two sisters Valerie and Gloria; one brother Pat (Diane). He was predeceased by his father Ovila; his mother Marceline; his five brothers, Cyril, Leo, Roy, Joseph, John; one sister Bertha; and one grandchild Dusty. Albert will be fondly remembered by his relatives and friends. Albert worked as a commercial fisherman most of his life, and enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family. He also enjoyed playing cards, hunting, trapping, music, especially fiddling music, jigging and telling stories. A private family service will be held.
