ROBERT CHARLES BRYSON Robert Charles, beloved husband of Katharine Bryson, died suddenly this Tuesday, August 21, 2007, in the comfort of his home, at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Helen Ruth Bryson (Brent Piche), Kirsten Slusarenko (Patrick), and Jennifer Bryson, who will miss him deeply in the years to come. Robert's extended family includes grandchildren, Aiden Piche, Rayne Bryson, Alex Angott, Nyah and Neve Slusarenko. He also leaves to mourn his brother Neil Bryson; brother-in-law Doug Pchajek; and the children of Katharine Bryson, David, Brian and James Bullas and Amanda Burke and their families. Robert loved life, and was so happy in the past few years. He was so excited about his new garage and the renovations to his home. He loved the gardens and the fruit trees and spent many happy hours at home and in the yard. He was a great friend to many, and always had a piece of useful advice. He helped many people throughout his career as a Mental Health Therapist, and brought joy to many when playing his oboe with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and in the Royal Forces Military Band. Robert brought so much joy into the life of his wife, Katharine. He was a true soulmate and they did not have as long together as either wanted but were grateful for the time they had. The Funeral Service was held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK on Friday, August 24, 2007 at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Andrew Appledove. Cremation was to follow with private family interment of ashes at a later date.
